Hi, I’m Alyssa — the photographer behind Vivid Photo. You could say creativity runs in my blood: my mom was an artist and my dad a photographer, and some of my earliest memories are of spending weekends in the studio with him, editing photos and color-correcting old slides. From that foundation, photography has always felt less like a career choice and more like a natural extension of who I am.

When I’m behind the camera, my goal is simple: to capture your family as you truly are. I’ll guide you into that perfectly posed shot for the mantel, but I also love capturing the candid, unposed moments that tell your real story — the laughter, the quiet connections, and the personalities that make your family unique. My style is vibrant, relaxed, and timeless, giving you photographs that will feel just as meaningful years from now as they do today.

Another part of my life that deeply influences my work is my background as a professional dog trainer. Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and I know firsthand how important they are to a family. If you’d like to include your pup (or cat!) in your session, you can rest easy knowing I have both the patience and the know-how to make it a fun and stress-free experience.
